Questers
Questers is a long standing group, comprised mainly of seniors, on a quest for greater understanding of the Bible and it's meaning for faithful living in today's world. Discussions revolve around major characters, exploration and discussion of theological and social issues. Seekers
Seekers welcomes anyone who wants to explore and grow your faith among supportive friends seeking to become more effective disciples. We offer: short term studies, a wide variety of topics, stimulating discussions, and opportunities to lead. We seek to better understand: God's Word, God's love, our faith, other's faiths, and the needs of your neighbors and community. B.U.M.
Being United Methodist, is a small 3 week study designed for new and prospective members of our church. Come learn what Trinity is about and how you can become connected to the Trinity community. This class discusses the Methodist Social Principles, what it means to be a United Methodist, and how your talents and treasures can enrich the Trinity community. Chancel Choir:
Do you sing in other places besides your car or shower? If so then Choir just might be the place for you! Chancel Choir has an open door policy- all are welcome. Chancel Choir performs every Sunday at the 10:30 service from August to May, and practices every Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:30pm. Bell Choir
Bell Choir meets every Wednesday from August through May in the lower level of Trinity UMC from 6:00 to 7:30pm to rehearse, and performs once a month at the 10:30 service. For more information please contact Shirley Deethardt at Shirley@trinitylincoln.org
Children's Music
The Children's Music program is delivered through Sunday School from 9:45 to 10:00am. Director of Music Michael Tully works to prepare the children for special performances.
Nursery - located in our wonderful Children’s Ministry area on the lower level, our nursery is appro for children up to three years of age during both worship services.
Preschool Friends—(3 to 5 year olds) are invited to join us at Sunday School during both services for music and plenty of hands on learning activities! If families choose, there are structured play and enrichment activities available on the lower level in Room 101/102.
Sunday School— (K thru 5) During the 9:00 worship we provide large group music and Bible story adventures and small group crafts, games and activities to reinforce the Bible point for the day.
Worship Expressions Tables- (K-5) Art and literacy based activities are provided as a way to help children express what they experience in worship. Available following the children's time at the 10:30 worship on the south side of Spirit Hall. Children are also invited to take a canvas bag off the children's tables by the entrances to Spirit Hall. They will find these bags full of coloring books, crayons, and crafts that they can do at their seats while they join their parents for worship.
MOMs Group
The MOMs group is a fun, social support group where young mothers share joys and struggles, give and receive advice, and grow in their faith. This group of mothers meets the 2nd Friday of each month. Activities include going out to eat, bowling, date nights, Easter egg hunts, and this summer they will be meeting twice a month to include a family BBQ Be sure to watch the events for the next upcoming event and to get involved with women who share the same values as you. Dads and Kids
More is expected of Dads today than ever before. Trinity is committed to bringing together a group of men who are working on being successful, nurturing Dads. Kids want their Dads to buy them “stuff” but being with their father is what matters most to them. The spiritual component of a man’s relationship with his children is probably the most important facet and often the most frequently over looked in today’s society. Fathers are very important and impactful in raising children. Trinity’s Dads and Kids Group brings fathers and their kids together, supports modern day fathering, helps kids build self esteem, instills values, teaches kids to effectively communicate and to resolve conflict through play Trinity’s Dads and Kids Group meets every 8 weeks. Village People
A fellowship group for the empty-nester set, the Village People take field trips, host football parties, and all-around have a good time! Upcoming events include a pool party, pot luck bbq, country outings, service projects, game nights, super bowl party, progressive dinner, first Friday art walk, a trip to Desoto National Wildlife Refuge, and a holiday gathering. Thursday Morning Bible Study

Triniteers
Love, Faith, and a Little Laughter... An organization open to all women in the church our purpose is to promote fellowship. We meet the second Monday of the months of April through November. We start at Noon for lunch followed by a short meeting and a program. Topics for programs include, "Stress Busters," "Labryinths," "Old Dogs.. Young-at-Heart
A fellowship group of people '60 or better' who meet regularly to renew and strengthen friendships, develop new friendships, provide education and information and fellowship, and enjoy entertainment. Upcoming events include a monthly dinner at Howard's Pantry after the 10:30 worship service, band concerts in Antelope Park, a day trip to Lake Waconda, and a speaker from Pakistan. Impact Youth Fellowship
Grades 6-12 meet on a weekly basis, usually on Sunday evenings, to interact socially and do fun activities. They also have several fund-raising activities for the Youth Mission Trips.
Disciple Bible Studies
This is a program which emphasizes Bible study in the process of making us disciples of Christ. DISCIPLE aims at transformation, not just information. Classes begin each fall, meeting for thirty-four weeks. No prior knowledge of the Bible is required.
Trinity Villagers
This is a men's group that meets at 9:15 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month at Howard's Pantry (Van Dorn Plaza, South 48th & Van Dorn) for breakfast, fellowship and a program. All men of the church are welcome. Our purpose is to provide social and spiritual relationships with work opportunities to benefit church and community. United Methodist Women
The organzed unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is: to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.There are various "circles" of women, which meet on a monthly basis for business and social activities. In 2011 UMW will host the following fundraisers to raise funds towards their mission pledge: Guess Who's Coming To Dinner, Annual Rummage Sale, Pray at Home Tea, the Waffleman, and Harvest Happenings. * UMW Harmony Circle is made up of women in their 60's who meet the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 for breakfast provided by the hostess and discussion from the UMW program book or a topic of the hostesses choice.
* UMW Symphony Circle is made up of women ages 40's to 60's who meet in the evenings, the 2nd Tuesday of the month for fellowship, mission work and support for each other. We serve a meal at The Gathering Place twice a year and have pledged to look after church members who need attention either because of illness or age.
* UMW Agape Circle is comprised of women of all ages who meet the 2nd Monday of the month at 7:00pm in one of the members homes. In May they celebrate with dinner out on the town, and in November they support the UMW Turkey Dinner Fundraiser. Agape circle follows the UMW mission and helps to raise funds for the mission pledge of $7,500.00
