Quick Response Ministry
The Trinity Quick Response team is a resource for members of Trinity and the community in times of need. When called upon, the team is available to lend a helping hand. This ministry is just one example of how Trinity is being Christ in the world. To get your name on the Quick Response Team list, contact the church offic at 402-435-2946.

Prayer Team
The Trinity prayer team is a group of caring members that take time out of every day to focus their prayers on specific individuals in need. To join the prayer team or be added to the prayer list, contact the church office at 402-435-2946.

Community Action: The Gathering Place
Trinity sends groups to serve meals at The Gathering Place on a monthly basis. Groups provide the food for evening, while serving and eating with those at the Gathering Place. At Community Action, they recognize that basic needs must be met before they can provide other forms of assistance.  The Gathering Place meets the basic food and shelter needs of those in Lincoln and Lancaster County by providing hot meals, and rent and utility payment assistance. Contact the church office to get involved. 402-435-2946

Trinity Child Care
Trinity Child Care has been providing quality childcare to the Lincoln Community for over 30 years. We now have two locations to meet the needs of your family.  Our downtown facility is located at 16 and A streets, and our Southeast facility is located in the Village Gardens neighborhood.

Paint-A-Thon
Every summer the men's group sponsors a Lincoln Paint-A-Thon house. Typically a multiple-day project, the group will strip existing paint and apply a new coat of paint until the house looks fantastic. Look for more information about the Paint-A-Thon when next summer roles around.

Rock-the-Village
For the past two years, Trinity has hosted a summer community event for families in the Village Gardens neighborhood. The first year the event spotlighted the String Beans, a dynamic vocal group that got the kids singing and dancing. The second year brought local pirate Mike Mennard and his pirate band. Mike taught the kids some pirate tunes and was impressed by their previous pirate skills gained at the "High Seas" vacation bible school the week before. This year the event is being held on August 19th from 6pm to 9pm and will feature Lincoln's premier reggae band, Ashanti.  Open to the public, this event is free and is guaranteed to be a rockin' good time!

Food Drive
Every November Trinity hosts a food drive for the St. Paul United Methodist Food Pantry. St. Paul's puts together food packages each week, which are given to the Good Neighbor Center and the Indian Center on alternating weeks throughout the year. Each week they need about 1200 pounds of food, which provides approximately 55 meals. They also put together food boxes for emergency situations when contacted by HHS or another human service agency.
