We know children are curious, they love to explore and experience life and we are planning and preparing for a year of opportunities for adventure! Through creative, active, age appropriate and Bible based experiences, children will develop a knowledge of and love for God they can carry with them wherever they go and however they grow!
We believe in the importance of the presence of children in worship and provide ways for them to actively participate in age appropriate ways. We believe strongly in the fact that children learn in a variety of ways and are they are spiritual beings from the beginning of life. To nurture the faith development of all children requires us to be thoughtful and purposeful in our teaching, in our selection of teachers and resources, and in the ways we provide for children at Trinity United Methodist Church.
At Trinity we believe in the power of community and the importance of relationships in building faith. Children are encouraged to build strong relationships with friends, teachers and others in the congregation. We encourage families to know one another and develop lasting relationships that nurture and strengthen. The blessing of intergenerational relationships are a tremendous gift at Trinity, families will find encouragers, mentors, teachers, leaders and much more in our elder generations!
You can also rest assured that we know and understand the importance of providing safe and secure environments for care, learning, play and worship at Trinity. Our church works diligently to live out the protection policies that undergird every facet of our ministries with children. Our staff and children's ministry volunteers are trained in providing safe spaces and maintaining appropriate boundaries and have background checks completed.
We hope you will worship with us and visit our children's ministry offerings! We look forward to partnering with you in developing faith to last a lifetime in your life and the lives of each member of your family!
Many Blessings,
